The riots were significant in Ferguson, MO becauseit reflects all the years of.discrimination African Americans had to endure. Numerous murders occurred that dealt with blacks who had encounters with the police. Rosa Parks not giving up her seat on the bus, but still arrested. Trayvon Martin shot and killed for no good reason. All the pain and suffering blacks endured is just a testiment of the long road too the the journey of getting equal rights.
This is exactly what I said, Its bigger than Mike Brown. This is about pain and discrimination against African Americans for years and years.
